Zhuhai Park of the Zhuhai-Macao Cross-border Industrial Zone in Hezhou topped the city in e-commerce import and export trade volume of 2.86 billion yuan ($424.91 million) with a 138-percent growth rate in the first four months of 2022.

Hezhou firmly adheres to Zhuhai's "industry first" development strategy, boosting the growth of the cross-border innovation industries of information technology and biomedicine with Hong Kong and Macao, as well as the distinctive advantageous industries of commerce and exhibitions, bonded logistics, and marine fisheries.

A cross-border e-commerce industry cluster has been formed in the park. Being a special supervision zone, its advantages in the policies and location will be fully utilized to develop new business models.

In addition, the zone is expected to lead the city in building the 9610 and 1210 cross-border e-commerce customs inspection sites.
