Zhuhai's image of a "City of Youth & Vigor" and its latest achievements in economy, society, culture, science and technology, people's livelihood, as well as other fields were showcased on China Media Group's Livestream Greater Bay Area, which aired on June 22.

Advanced technologies, such as holographic image, extended reality (XR), and virtual reality (VR), were applied, with the Zhuhai episode covering key sections like "Greater Bay Area promoter," "Greater Bay Area New Perspective," as well as "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Talks." 

Huang Zhihao, Zhuhai mayor and a Greater Bay Area promoter, proudly introduced Zhuhai to the world via a Vlog. He noted that beautiful cityscape and favorable urban environment is a calling card for Zhuhai. A friendly city for people of all ages will be constituted while high-caliber talents are attracted to the city with a "Talent Plan," added Huang.

Zhuhai's confidence in adhering to its "industry first" development strategy was covered, as well as the city's efforts in accelerating construction of a national comprehensive transportation hub. The rapid and integrated development of Zhuhai and Macao was also highlighted in the program.

The Xiangshan Marine Scientific & Technological Port in Tangjiawan and AG600 assembly line at Zhuhai Aviation Industrial Park in Jinwan have shown viewers how cutting-edge technologies help people explore "smart" water transportation and the rapid development of Zhuhai's aviation industry.

Of note, the "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Talks" in the Zhuhai episode invited young people from Hong Kong and Macao to tell their stories about starting up a business in Zhuhai and how the Greater Bay Area has been further integrated. 

Local landmarks like Zhuhai Opera House, Lovers Avenue, City Balcony, Jingshan Trail on Banzhang Mt, and Gongbei Checkpoint, which depict Zhuhai as a city suitable for living, work, and travel, were also showcased to the audience.

As the year 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China and fifth anniversary of the debut of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Livestream Greater Bay Area will focus on one city in the Greater Bay Area in one day's "one-hour television + 12-hour new media" livestream from June 20 to 30.

The series of livestreams is available on the platforms of CCTV-4, CMG Radio the Greater Bay, CCTV News App, and CCTV's new media platform Yangshipin. Moreover, the Zhuhai episode was also broadcast on local Zhuhai media platforms like the Guanhai app, Zhuhai Broadcast Television Station, and the video account of Zhuhai Daily.
