Construction on Phase II of the Zhuhai Central Grain Depot in Doumen is continuing with the project expected to be completed in June 2023, boasting a storage capacity of 180,000 metric tons.

A delegation of around 30 members of the Communist Youth League of China participated in a recent on-site tour of the project in Xiaochikan Village, arranged by Zhuhai Agricultural Investment Holding.

The delegation was shown around the granary, learned about the professional equipment used, and toured the workshop that has been put into operation in the depot's first phase.

A staff member of the Zhuhai Central Grain Depot said that the depot will firmly adhere to the concept of industrialization, as well as devote continuous efforts to the intelligent and refined management of national food security. Upon operation of its second phase, the depot's overall storage capacity will reach 220,000 tons.
