'Super Mammoth' debuts at Hengqin Chimelong Ocean Kingdom
China's first manned mechanical beast "Super Mammoth" made its debut at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Hengqin on July 30 after three years of design and production work.
As a brand-new IP of Chimelong, the "Super Mammoth" is 13 m (43 ft) in height, 19 m (21 yd) in length, and 7 m (8 yd) in width. To make it move more like a real elephant, each joint of the installation utilizes bionics design, while its facial emotions and moves are also vivid.

It can carry several people at one time, allowing visitors to tour around the park while enjoying a new point of view. Of note, Chimelong will develop more mechanical behemoths in the future.
Chimelong Marine Science Park, a core part of the second phase of Chimelong International Ocean Resort, finished its main structure construction in July, while the new projects of Chimelong Cable Cars and Marine Adventure Park are now under further design to prepare for operation in the next few years.
Zhuhai Chimelong International Ocean Resort is now striving to be an amusement park and tourist resort with influence across the whole country. It will also provide support to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the integrated development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Macao.
The resort will also contribute to the continuous development of the cultural tourism industry of Hengqin to turn the International Recreation Island into one of the biggest tourism destinations in the world.
