Zhuhai-made water rescue robot wins high praise online
The Dolphin 1, the intelligent water rescue robot independently developed by Tangjiawan-based Yunzhou Technology, went viral online recently for its successful rescue of a boy who was washed away by waves in Weihai, Shandong Province on Aug 9.
Boasting outstanding advantages like high floatage, controllable navigation, and clear visibility, the Dolphin 1 can automatically overturn to adjust its position even in dangerous water conditions. It is easy to be remote-controlled with one hand and the operator does not need to have extra training before using it. In case of emergencies, only one to two people are required to operate the robot for rapid rescue.
