The Zhuhai session of the 2022 South China Book Festival unveils its curtain today at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center in Shizimen and will run until Aug 23.

Eight distinctive Zhuhai bookstores, 123 enterprises, and more than 10 renowned domestic writers will meet the public at the 4,500-sqm (48,438-sq-ft) exhibition area. In addition, a 20 percent discount will be available for book purchasers during the event.

A total of 50,000 yuan ($7,411) in coupons with values of 10 yuan ($1), 20 yuan ($3), and 50 yuan ($7) will be issued on the Guanhai app.

The exhibition will be opened from noon to 6 pm on Aug 19, and from 9 am to 7 pm for the coming  weekend. On Aug 22 and 23, the event will run from 9 am to 6 pm. 

Visitors can take Bus No 14, 61, 62, 86, 87, K10, K11, N20, or Z30 to Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center (国际会展中心) or drive there as the center has plenty of parking spaces.

Of note, those entering the exhibition center must present a 24-hour negative PCR test result and have no travel or residential history to medium- and high-risk areas.
