The Mountain View Section of the Jingshan Trail has recently opened to the public, marking the full operation of the trail's main line. The supporting parking lots are scheduled to start operation by the end of the year to meet visitors' demands.

The 8.4-km (5.2-mile) Jingshan Trail's main line is the first one of its kind citywide built on a mountain landscape. It features Sea View, Garden, and Mountain View sections, as well as links New Yuanming Palace, Macao Return Memorial Park, the Jida Reservoir, Bailiandong (White Lotus Cave), Jingshan Park, and City Balcony tourist attractions from west to east.

The Garden Section is an ideal place for people to enjoy a bird's eye view of Macao and Zhuhai, while the Sea View Section from Jining Road to Jingshan Park boasts rare scenery as people can not only see the natural beauty of the sea and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the distance but also get a close look at Xianglu Bay Beach, the Zhuhai Fisher Maiden Statue, as well as Zhuhai Opera House.

Of note, the section boasts the Jiushang Bookstore with the highest elevation in Zhuhai, which is worth a visit.

The newly opened Mountain View Section is located on the southernmost mountain in downtown Zhuhai, offering distinctive experiences for people to enjoy mountainous scenery and stones of different shapes.

The Jingshan Trail is also China's first smart trail and has various kinds of intelligent facilities, including physical fitness test services, benches, toilets, lighting control, and parking lots.

Visitors can rest on the intelligent benches while charging their smart phones wirelessly. They can also connect their phones to Bluetooth speakers in the benches to play their favorite songs. Visitors can access staff members through the smart lamp posts to find their stray friends or children through the monitors installed on each lamp post alongside the trail.
