Stretching across the easternmost waterway of the Huangmao Sea, Gaolan Port Bridge connects Hezhou-Gaolan Port Expressway of Zhuhai in the east and Huangmao Sea Bridge in the west.
The full-floating-system cable-stayed Bridge, with a main span of 700 meters, has two single-column towers (Z3 and Z4), and double planes. Upon completion, it will allow the passage of 50,000-ton ships.

As the the west extension of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Huangmao Sea Channel is expected to open to traffic in 2024.
By then, it will form a cross-sea and cross-river channel cluster in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), together with Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, Nansha Bridge, and Humen Bridge.
