Twenty-four key investment attraction projects in Zhuhai's Xiangzhou District, including PowerLeader's computer system project and Fibteck's South China headquarters, were signed on Feb 27, during the district's Innovation-driven High-quality Development Conference.

In recent years, Xiangzhou District has been promoting high-quality development, according to Qin Chun, vice mayor of Zhuhai. Qin expressed hope that Xiangzhou can further strengthen its manufacturing industry and make contributions to Zhuhai's high-quality development.

Xiangzhou introduced 537 sci-tech innovation projects last year, creating a surge of 379 percent year-on-year. It also welcomed seven specialized, elaborative, characteristic, and emerging "little giant" (small and medium-sized) enterprises at a national level, 197 at provincial level, and 103 at municipal level. In addition, 309 enterprises won the title of provincial innovative small and medium-sized enterprise last year, which contributed to Zhuhai's high rankings in 2022.

Of note, the number of high-end enterprises in Xiangzhou increased by 107 in 2022, and now totals at 568.

One of the district's new industrial service platforms also went online that day and Cheng Yisun, CEO of DeltaFit Fintech, said that enterprises are able to find products, technologies, funds, talents and land on it. This realizes online exchanges between enterprises and allows them to carry out online matchmaking in the supply and demand sectors.

Furthermore, 42 enterprises that have won sci-tech innovation rewards above municipal level received grand commendation during the event, while 43 high-quality innovation enterprises received monetary rewards, certificates, and plaques. Ten banks with outstanding contributions in serving the real economy were also rewarded.

Zeng Xudong, founder of Zhengfang Yuntian Intelligent Technology (Zhuhai), said that the enterprises will explore global markets and carry out international cooperation while utilizing Xiangzhou's preferential policies and excellent business environment.
