Four of Zhuhai's major industrial projects for the second quarter began construction in Xiangzhou District on April 18. With total investment of 1.24 billion yuan ($179.58 million), these projects will generate 3 billion yuan ($435 million) annually upon operation. 

The investors of these four projects are all industrial pioneers in core indicators, such as the number of patents owned and their capacity for sci-tech research and development with independent core technologies.

The projects in Sanxi Technology & Innovation Town in Shangchong area have the advantages of occupying a small area, owning high technical content, and showing excellent output effect. They are expected to be built into headquarters for future listings, and will help support the high-quality industrial development of Xiangzhou.

Zhuhai Kingsware Information Technology's Robotic Process Automation Digital Employee project covers a total area of 4,527.27 square meters (1.12 acres) and will be built with an investment of 173 million yuan ($25 million). Its annual revenue is expected to reach 364 million yuan ($53 million) after achieving its designed yield.

It will integrate robotic process automation, big data, and artificial intelligence to achieve the fully processed automation of intelligent robots.

Liao Wanli, chairman of Zhuhai Kingsware Information Technology, noted that the project will be a major platform for showcasing China's digital development outcomes. It will also attract more downstream and upstream enterprises to invest in Xiangzhou, helping to promote the digital transformation of more enterprises and organizations.

The 350-million-yuan ($51-million) intelligent cloud printing project of Xprinter Group will have a total land area of 8,139.73 sq m (2 acres), and will generate an annual revenue of 1.2 billion yuan ($174.1 million).

Xprinter Group, established in 2006, is a global enterprise featuring R&D, production, sales and services. Of note, the enterprise's note printing products have ranked top globally in terms of the sales volume.

The intelligent R&D and sales headquarters project of Zhuhai KSkin will be built at a cost of 315 million yuan ($46 million) on a 5,671.18-sq-m (1.4-acre) area. It is scheduled to generate an annual revenue of 838 million yuan ($122 million) after reaching its designed yield.

Kingdomcares has been dedicated to the intelligent medical beauty appliances industry. Several of its products now top in domestic market shares. 

The 6,100-sq-m (1.5-acre) project invested in by Pangu Environmental Protection Technology will have a total investment of 400 million yuan ($58 million), and will achieve an annual revenue of 600 million yuan ($87 million) after it is put into operation.

Additional facilities such as scholar work stations, postdoctoral work stations, provincial key laboratories, and national environmental testing and analysis laboratories will be built.
