More than 600 women entrepreneurs embarked on a four-day visit around Zhuhai beginning April 24, getting a close look at Zhuhai's industrial policies and business environment.

The on-site visits are organized by the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government and the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs.

The Zhuhai Investment Attraction Office briefed the delegation on Zhuhai's geographic location, and its completed livelihood facilities. The office also highlighted Zhuhai's broad development platforms and high-quality business environment.

Zhuhai's seven major industry clusters were also showcased, as well as the city's achievements in the construction of industry 5.0 space projects.

Dong Mingzhu, chairman of Gree Electric Appliances, delivered a keynote speech during the opening ceremony of the tour. She shared her experiences and thoughts on product research and development, quality management, industrial equipment manufacturing, scientific research, and personnel training system construction.

A training institute working under the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs, which is jointly run by the association and Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC), also unveiled its plaque during the opening ceremony. It will provide systematic training platforms for members of the association.

During the tour, the delegation will visit Xiangzhou District, the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin for research and exchange purposes.

Zhang Cuihua, chairman of the Zhuhai Association of Women Entrepreneurs, said that Zhuhai is an ideal place for living, traveling, and starting up businesses. She expressed hope that Zhuhai will attract more women entrepreneurs to invest and start innovative businesses here. 

Zhao Xiaohong, chairman of Harbin Jiuzhou Electric, noted that she is looking forward to the further sharing of resources between north and south China, as well as deeper industrial integration.

Song Yakun, chairman of Jilin Fooding Foods Group, said that the enterprise has settled two projects in Zhuhai. They focus on medical device R&D and food safety and testing. The preferential policies in Zhuhai and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have made exchanges and cooperation efforts, such as this tour, more efficient.
