Three Zhuhai enterprises, Gree Electric Appliances, Huafa Properties, and Ninestar, were selected for the latest China 500 enterprises list, released by the business magazine Fortune on July 25.

The list assessed the performance and achievements of the world's largest listed Chinese enterprises over the past year. Apart from its ranking, the magazine found that the total revenue of these 500 entrees reached $15 trillion, with a recorded net profit of $717.1 billion.

Among the listed enterprises, 67 are based in Guangdong Province, accounting for 13.4 percent of the total and generating a combined revenue exceeding 8 trillion yuan ($1 trillion).

Gree Electric Appliances ranked 146th on the list with a revenue of $28.27 billion. With the addition of two new internationally leading technologies in February, the total number of the company's invention patents reached 110,000, and its number of internationally leading technologies hit 39.

Gree Electric Appliances held a total market share of more than 20 billion yuan ($279 million) in the central air-conditioning market in 2022. In September of the same year, the company entered the prefabricated food field and established the Guangdong Provincial Precooked Food Equipment Industrial Development Association, which aims to jointly improve the prefabricated food supply chain.

Huafa Properties ranked 270th on the list, with a recorded revenue of $8.8 billion. In the previous year, Huafa Properties signed more than 20 high-quality project contracts with cities such as Zhuhai, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Chengdu. As of the end of the first quarter of 2023, the enterprise's total construction area measured 14.17 million square meters (3,501 acres).

Ninestar climbed 31 places and ranked 467th on this year's list, with a revenue of 3.84 billion yuan ($536.97 million). As a domestic leading printer manufacturer, Ninestar ranked fourth in the global laser printer market in terms of overall printer shipments. As of now, the enterprise conducts business in more than 150 countries and regions worldwide.
