September 17 marks the second anniversary of the inauguration of administrative organizations of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. Over the past two years, the zone has witnessed further integration with Macao.

Specifically, the number of Macao-funded enterprises is ramping up, with a slew of industrial development policies having been introduced for finance, cultural tourism and exhibitions, biomedicine and health, integrated circuit industry and legal services, giving more support to Macao-funded enterprises.

As for Macao residents' life in Hengqin, the Macau New Neighborhood project provides residence for over 10,000 Macao residents. 14 commuter lines linking Hengqin and Macao can serve 250,000 passengers a year and the Macao-Hengqin Light Rail Transit and the bridge connecting the University of Macau (UM) and Hengqin port have also been completed, making the cross-border travel more smooth. Moreover, Hengqin Port also sees an increasing upsurge of passenger and vehicle flow.

The posters highlight the zone's efforts and achievements over the past two years to diversify Macao's development and to create an ideal place for Macao residents to live and work in the region.
