A smart firefighting product maker from Beijing, capital of China, recently located a branch in Suzhou New District, Jiangsu province, local media reported.
Beijing Changxing Co is dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of smart firefighting products and its newly-built branch in Suzhou is expected to be responsible for the R&D of new products and technologies.
The branch company plans to grow its high-tech capabilities to meet the district's requirements for such companies within three years.
These requirements include having independent intellectual property rights or one or more patents for invention, the number of their researchers accounting for more than 8 percent of the total workforce and more than two scientific achievements being put into production within the three year period.
In addition, Fan Weicheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and top expert of fire science and protection engineering, recently established a workstation in the Suzhou district.
Beijing Changxing Co will, based on the academician and its team's high tech, help improve the district's fire alarm and fire service systems and establish a smart fire monitoring cloud platform and firefighting service stations in local communities.
As the first group of national high-tech zones, Suzhou New District has introduced more than 100 innovation companies and institutes and 900 high profile talents in various fields over the past two decades, such as the Research Institute for Environmental Innovation (Suzhou) of Tsinghua, State Grid (Suzhou) City & Energy Research Institute Co, and the Suzhou Medical Appliances Research Institute of Southeast University.
