Jiangsu Medpark is a national medical industry facility jointly established by Suzhou New District and the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology in 2009.
The park covers an area of 2 sq km and consists of more than 200 companies settling in its north and south sections. The southern part contains a 1-sq-km area for research and development centers, authoritative testing, and evaluation institutions, while the 1-sq-km northern part is an industrial demonstration area.
To date, the park has brought in over 200 high-level experts and established more than 10 public service platforms, including the Suzhou Medical Device Research Institute of Southeast University. A complete medical device industrial chain has taken shape in the park.
