The first China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Camp, an event aiming to encourage the pioneering spirit of the youth, opened in Suzhou New District on May 27, local media outlets reported.
An innovation and entrepreneurship alliance targeting the youth in national high-tech zones in the Yangtze River Delta region, namely Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou in Jiangsu province, Zhangjiang and Zizhu in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xiuzhou district, Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, as well as Hefei in Anhui province, was launched on the same day.
The alliance aims to boost exchanges and cooperation within the YRD region, encouraging the member zones to utilize their advantages, share innovative and entrepreneurial resources, as well as work together to realize mutual development.
A forum echoing the same theme was also held, where experts from domestic research institutes, prestigious universities, and venture capitals delivered keynote speeches, as well as shared their inspirations on innovation and entrepreneurship for the youth.
The event has received solid support from the Communist Youth League at all levels.
In recent years, China has been focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship for the youth by making efforts to seek scientific and technological innovation in key areas.
SND has also been following the trend, with its emphasis on developing its characteristic industries of medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, and integrated circuits generating significant double-digit annual growth. It has also improved its attractiveness to more than 600 Japanese-invested companies, accelerated university-government cooperation, and offered a series of preferential policies to attract professionals at all levels.
