China Mobile (Suzhou) Software Technology Co, a Suzhou New District-based wholly owned subsidiary of China Mobile, achieved 9.7 billion yuan ($1.50 billion) in revenue in the first half of this year, up 118.1 percent year-on-year.
With a total registered capital of 3.17 billion yuan, the company is a cloud service developer, responsible for the research and development, operation, as well as support of cloud services. Its business scope covers the entire nation.
As an important part in China Mobile's 5G plan, the company has been developing its six product lines covering hardware, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, software as a service, security, and management platforms.
The company offers professional cloud services to meet the requirements of customers from a number of sectors, including government, education, medical care, transportation, and other industries.
Focusing on R&D, the company has made progress in its core technology, obtaining more than 700 individually developed intellectual property rights. The number of its self-developed products is over 210, and the number of its cooperative SaaS products is over 2,500.
In the first half of this year, the company has been awarded by institutes like the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. Its products and services have been authoritatively recognized.
