Audfly Technology, a foremost expert in directional sound technology, in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, has won this year's iF Design Award, a world-renowned design prize, for its product Focusound, a see-through glass directional speaker.
Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, the world's oldest independent design organization, holds the iF Design Award every year. Since 1954, the iF Design Award has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for excellent design. The iF Design brand is renowned worldwide for its outstanding design services.
The winning product, Focusound, is a first-of-its-kind glass directional speaker that projects directional stereo sound to a targeted area only, without disturbing others. It provides users with an isolated and private sound experience.
With its unique focused-sound emitting capabilities and cutting-edge innovation, Focusound will free users from headphones while still allowing them to enjoy incredible spatial sound. Whether relaxing at home, playing games, having a video conference in a busy office, or watching football games at night, there is no need to worry about being too loud and disturbing others, even if they're in the same room.
Competition was intense – almost 11,000 entries were submitted from 56 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.
Audfly Technology has been developing directional sound technology for different industries around the world since 2015.
