Three enterprises in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, made the list of the Global Unicorn Index 2023 compiled by the Hurun Research Institute, a ranking of the world's start-ups founded in the 2000s.
The listed companies are worth at least $1 billion and not yet listed on a public exchange. The research institute has been tracking unicorns since 2017.
