One of the world's largest clinical research organizations, Parexel, opened its first Chinese clinical trial supplies and logistics distribution center in Suzhou New District, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, on June 17, local media outlets reported.
Parexel is expected to use its abundant experience in multinational medicine clinical research and global customer resources to provide supporting services for pharmaceutical manufacturers in developing new medicines, accelerating pharmaceutical research and development, and boosting the rapid development of the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

Founded in 1982, the US-based Parexel is dedicated to developing innovative therapies and has participated in the R&D of 95 percent of the top 200 best-selling medicines in the world.
In recent years, foreign leading enterprises have continued expanding their investment in SND and contributed to the construction of SND into a first-class hub of pharmaceutical R&D and service. The bio-pharmaceutical and medical device industries in the district also continue growing with more large-scale projects in operation.
