Implemented on Jan 12, with an inaugural flight from Seoul to Dunhuang, this new route provides the passengers with direct access to a host of magnificent scenic spots, including the Mogao Grottoes, Jiayuguan Pass and the Danxia landform in Zhangye Qicai Danxia scenic area.

A 58-year-old tourist from Seoul pressed her hands together in front of her chest upon arriving at Dunhuang Mogao International Airport. She said that as a Buddhist, she had been looking forward to this trip for a long time and had done a lot of research beforehand.
