The 2023 " Lucid waters and lush mountains " Chinese Leisure Sports Challenge was launched in Pingle district, Guilin

On April 22nd, the "Lucid waters and lush mountains" Chinese leisure sports challenge of 2023 was launched in Pingle district, Guilin. With the theme of "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, and Pingle's ecological sports are beautiful," the event attracted the participation of more than 500 athletes and 6,000 sports enthusiasts from all over China. The opening ceremony was held on the banks of the Lijiang River in the county town of Pingle, Guilin, and included the first Pingle Lijiang River ecological sports tourism week.

This event serves as a new "ecological sports" platform for sports enthusiasts and is a concrete measure taken by Pingle to implement the "Two Mountains" concept and promote the differentiated development of tourism. It will effectively promote the deep integration of "sports + tourism" in Pingle.

The event also included the first Pingle Lijiang River ecological sports tourism week, which featured a three-day market of special food, agricultural culture and tourism products, photography contests, eco-sports seminars, Olympic torch exhibitions, bonfire parties, kayaking races, Lijiang River water sports carnival, and more.
