South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Thursday released the first environmental index for the Lijiang River, a signature scenery in the popular tourist destination of Guilin.
The zone has carried out an approval system of "Green passage", "Time-limit services" and "Double-Tolerance and double-commitment" for major projects to shorten the time for approval.
Companies in the Guilin High-tech Zone enjoy favorable policies that have been given to Guilin High-tech Industry Development Zone, the Western Development Program, ASEAN Free Trade Area, as well as China’s ethnic areas and ethnic autonomous regions.
The Zengpiyan site is a Neolithic archaeological cave site dating back 7,000 to 12,000 years. Located at the southwestern foot of Dushan Mountain in Guilin, it is one of the most famous tourist destinations in South China.
