Recently, Guilin city brought together an array of publicity staff, media personnel, and heads of travel agencies to carry out a red culture-themed study tour from March 20 to 21.

This unique tour commenced in Jiangkou village, Lejiang town, Longsheng county. As the members arrived, they were welcomed by the local Dong people with traditional music and treated to the authentic taste of homemade oil tea and snacks. The tour group then proceeded to the martyrs' cemetery, a poignant reminder of the revolutionary martyrs, built by the Dong people. While en route to Hongwu Pavilion and the Small Granary Ruin Site, they immersed themselves in the rich history of China's Red Army.

Led by the tour guide, they explored various memorial facilities of the March, such as the Red Army Camphor Tree Spot and Red Army Half Street, which offered a glimpse into the spirit of the revolutionary sites. The members were also treated to the awe-inspiring views of Longji Terraces and Longdong Gorge, a sight that left them inspired.

Looking ahead, Guilin city is determined to elevate its red culture-themed study tours. By integrating local ethnic characteristics, high-quality natural scenery, and unique social culture, it aspires to create study tours that are a perfect blend of leisure, tourism, sightseeing, culture, and education.
