The domestically developed AS700 manned airship recently flew nearly a thousand kilometers and landed near the Moon Hill Scenic Area in Yangshuo county, Guilin. The airship is expected to be put into use in the Yangshuo low-altitude sightseeing and experiential flight market, helping develop the low-altitude economy in Guilin and creating a new form of low-altitude tourism in Yangshuo.

As an important component of the low-altitude economy, low-altitude tourism revitalizes tourism with its unique perspectives and experiences, driving the modernization and transformation of the tourism service industry in Guilin and helping the city establish itself as a world-class tourist destination.

At the Yansha Aviation Sports Camp in Yangshuo, the grounds have come alive with the constant hum of engines as powered paragliders take off and land one after another. In the distance, the undulating mountains provide a backdrop as pairs of hot air balloons float in the sky.

In recent years, the sports camp has explored the "low-altitude + tourism" format based on Yangshuo's tourism offerings, becoming the first domestic camp to obtain qualifications for short-distance aerial balloon tours after the implementation of new regulations. The camp's fleet of aircraft has now expanded to include three free-flying hot air balloons, six tethered hot air balloons, and over 10 powered paragliders.

Since its opening in 2016, the camp has steadily developed, achieving 100,000 hours of safe flights. In 2023, it welcomed 100,000 visitors, ranking among the highest in the industry nationwide.
