A five-member delegation led by the governor of Los Ríos province in Ecuador visited Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province from Oct 27 to 28.

Ecuador, officially the Republic of Ecuador, is a country located in northwestern South America.

Shi Genbao, deputy mayor of Huzhou, hosted a meeting with the governor and other members of the delegation.

Shi extended a warm welcome to the visitors on behalf of the city's municipal government and briefed the delegation on the city's economic and social progress.

During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the economy and urban management, among other topics.

The governor expressed his gratitude to the deputy mayor for the warm reception and gave a brief introduction of Los Ríos province.
