Huzhou forest farm listed among nation's top 10

Changxing forest farm in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province recently made the nation's top 10 forest farm list, according to the Huzhou municipal natural resources and planning bureau.

Established in 1952, Changxing forest farm covers a total area of 75,600 mu (5,040 hectares) and has a forest stock of 492,300 cubic meters.

Local authorities have been actively developing the farm into a comprehensive base integrating functions like scientific research demonstration and forest convalescence.

In the past five years, the farm had won numerous provincial honors like Zhejiang Ecological Culture Base, Zhejiang Famous Trademark, and Zhejiang Modern State-owned Forest Farm.
