Early summer, when it isn't too hot, is a recommended time for visitors to tour Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province at night. The following are six recommended places in the city for a nighttime visit:

Xiangwang Pier

Visitors shouldn't miss the chance to hop on a sightseeing boat at the Xiangwang Pier to carry out a night tour, which passes by numerous landmark buildings in the city like Riyue Bridge, Changdao Park, and the Twins Mansion.

Nanxun Ancient Town

As a national 5A scenic spot, the highest level in the nation's grading system for scenic attractions, Nanxun Ancient Town usually buzzes with visitors in the daytime, so a night tour is more suitable for people preferring a more serene experience. A boat tour is highly recommended.

Located in the downtown area of Huzhou, Yishang Street is widely deemed as a wonderful choice to experience local customs and savor local snacks. Visitors are able to enjoy several renowned snacks of Huzhou there, such as Ding Lianfang Qianzhangbao, which is made by wrapping minced pork in bean curd sheets.

Moon Hotel

The Huzhou Sheraton Hotel recently staged a new light show after its renovation was completed. The hotel, which is 101.2 meters in height and 116 in width, is a landmark building in Huzhou. With an architectural shape resembling a crescent moon, the hotel is also known as the "Moon Hotel".

Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise

The water dance show accompanied by fireworks is something visitors shouldn't miss at Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise, a tourist complex in the city.

The 20-minute show is staged twice every night and is free to watch, with the starting time set at 7:00 pm and 8:20 pm respectively.
