Huzhou Connected Innovation Area gets approval

Huzhou Connected Innovation Area of China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone was officially granted its nameplate at the China Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium on June 7, according to information from Huzhou municipal commerce bureau.

Efforts will be made to build the Huzhou Connected Innovation Area into a demonstration area that showcases the superiority of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

Construction will highlight the concept of green development, striving to become a proud example of green development achievements and experience in Zhejiang.

According to the plan, the Huzhou Connected Innovation Area will comprise the main urban area, the Deqing area, the Changxing area and the Anji area.

Moving forwards, Huzhou will accelerate the introduction and promotion of innovative experience from other free-trade zones, increase innovation in green ecological systems, green manufacturing and financial reforms, as well as develop green modern service industries and promote the development, exchange and cooperation of green ecological agriculture.

Meanwhile, Huzhou plans to improve the operation quality of its two bonded logistics centers, promote the high-quality development of the South Taihu Lake New Area and advance cross-region cooperation.
