Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province has been exploring the compilation of the nation's first management standards system on new types of tourism facilities.

Currently, the city has released and implemented safety management standards for 16 new types of tourism projects, including glass skywalks.

As of June 30, Huzhou had organized 69 inspections at municipal level on 83 A-level scenic spots across the city. The construction of three tourism projects was suspended due to safety concerns. Two projects failed to pass the acceptance inspection, while 67 safety hidden dangers were corrected.

The standards compiled by the city are expected to be promoted in 10 other cities in Zhejiang soon.
