Changxing's GDP totals 37.06b yuan in H1

The gross domestic product (GDP) of Huzhou's Changxing county totaled 37.06 billion yuan ($5.7 billion) in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 13.5 percent, official statistics showed.

The county's fiscal revenue was valued at 10.822 billion yuan, a rise of 28 percent year-on-year.

From January to June, a total of 94 investment projects, worth 33.34 billion yuan, were introduced to Changxing.

The county also registered a more than 15 percent increase in investment in fixed assets over the six-month period.

In the first half of this year, Changxing's online retail sales reached 4.09 billion yuan, up 23.9 percent year-on-year.

Commodities worth 1.798 billion yuan were exported from the county via the cross-border e-commerce B2B export model and through cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouses.

Over the six-month period, the balance of RMB loans in Changxing increased from 113.7 billion yuan in the first quarter of the year to 118.136 billion yuan at the end of June.

In addition, the balance of RMB deposits in the county amounted to 121.587 billion yuan, up from 118.563 billion yuan in the first quarter.
