Seventeen enterprises from Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province recently made the list of the third batch of "little giants" released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The companies included Huzhou ECO Environmental Technology Ltd, Zhejiang Kerrice High-tech Fluor-material Co Ltd, and Huzhou Bergman New Material Co Ltd.

A total of 2,930 enterprises from across the nation made the list. "Little giants" refer to industry leaders recognized by the MIIT with excellent innovation capabilities, large market shares, core technologies, as well as high product quality and profitability.

In 2018, the MIIT launched the campaign to cultivate "little giants".

In addition, nine companies from Huzhou were listed among the first batch of "little giants" that will receive financial support from the central government.
