Four companies from Huzhou made the list of the top 100 Zhejiang enterprises in 2021, which was released on Sept 29.

Jointly released by the Zhejiang Enterprises Federation, the Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Association, and the Zhejiang Federation of Industrial Economics, the list has been released annually since 2003.

The four listed companies from Huzhou were Tianneng Holding Group (9th), Chilwee Group (13th), Zhejiang Shenghua Group (57th), and Jiuli Group (94th).

This year, the revenue threshold to make the list was 19.81 billion yuan ($3.05 billion), an increase of 15.9 percent year-on-year.

In 2020, the turnover of the top 100 companies in Zhejiang grew 7.46 percent year-on-year to 7.32 trillion yuan. Their net assets totaled 7.75 trillion yuan, up 18.21 percent, while their net profits surged 12.88 percent year-on-year to 482.57 billion yuan.

Due to the tax reduction policies rolled out by Zhejiang, the 100 enterprises' total tax payments amounted to 273.72 billion yuan, a decrease of 4.64 percent.
