Two tourism routes in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province recently made the list of China's rural leisure tourism routes in the autumn, which was released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

The two tourism routes are located in Huzhou's Anji county and Changxing county.

The Anji route, which is themed on the harvest, includes such places including Lujia village, Longwan village, "Two Mountains" scenic spot in Yucun village and Skyland.

In Lujia village, visitors can go on a mini-train tour of 18 different themed farms along a 4.5-kilometer sightseeing route.

Tourists can also try their hands at making paper using ancient techniques or learn how to turn bamboo into paper in Longwan village.

Skyland, which is located at an altitude of 1,168 meters, is a tourism resort offering services like high-end accommodation, mountain sightseeing, and skiing.

Known as the birthplace of the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", Yucun village is another excellent rural tourism site.

Meanwhile, the Changxing route, which revolves around folk customs around the Taihu Lake, is composed of places including Shiquan village, Taihu Ancient Town, Taihu Museum and the zoo of Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise.

Taizhou Ancient Town is a commercial block built in the style of an ancient town. It is home to 62 hotels, more than 100 bars and restaurants, hundreds of stalls selling local specialties, and 20 theatres.

The zoo of Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise has introduced more than 400 kinds of wild animals like African lions, giraffes, kangaroos, zebras, as well as sea lions, polar bears, beluga whales, and penguins.
