Huzhou recently started providing COVID-19 vaccinations to children aged 3 and above, according to local media reports.

Previously, health authorities across China had been providing vaccinations to children aged 12 and above.

Children within the age range can receive the inoculation only when accompanied by a parent. They must also comply with epidemic prevention measures such as wearing face masks and showing QR codes that verify their travel history and health status.

Those who have been vaccinated within two weeks cannot receive the vaccine. Those who have fever, allergies and have taken anti-inflammatory drugs within three days should also avoid getting vaccinated.
