Xiaohongshu, a social media platform from China, recently released a list of 50 high-quality campsites in the Yangtze River Delta, a region encompassing the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, as well as Shanghai municipality.
Among them, 34 are in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, more than any city in the YRD region.
The campsites in Huzhou can be divided into two categories - tent campsites (29) and recreational vehicle campsites (5). Half of them are located in scenic spots, while the other half is situated in the wild.
A head official from the Huzhou municipal bureau of culture, radio, film and tourism noted that the city will promote standardized regulation of the camping industry, with an aim to becoming a camping destination with wider recognition.
