Eight scenic spots, including Nanxun Ancient Town and Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise in Huzhou, were recently honored as smart scenic spots in East China's Zhejiang province.

In Nanxun Ancient Town, a national 5A scenic spot (the nation's highest rating for scenic spots), a three-dimensional visual management platform began operating last March.

The platform has realized the integrated management of vehicles such as cars and ships, and people such as visitors, security guards and sanitation workers at the scenic spot.

Founded in 1252 during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), Nanxun Ancient Town is currently among the top six ancient towns in Jiangnan, a region located south of the Yangtze River.

In addition, Anji Bamboo Expo Park in Anji county, Huzhou is also among the recipients of the honor.

The park was first established in 1974 and covers an area of 80 hectares. It is now a national 4A tourist area.

The park features equipment such as GPS chip-embedded scooters and electronic guiding facilities, bringing convenience to visitors.

Additionally, a real-time monitoring platform has been erected alongside some emergency warning equipment.

Zhongnan Baicao Garden, another scenic spot in Anji, has also won the honor. Visitors can explore the site using its smart scooters.
