Green Manufacturing Industrial Park (National-level)
The Green Manufacturing Industrial Park, a national-level development zone, covers an overall planning area of 232 hectares. It consists of three parks: Zhejiang Energy Group Smart Energy Science and Technology Industrial Park, Tianneng Green Manufacturing Industrial Park and South Taihu Lake Youth Science and Technology Innovation Park.
The park's plan is to build a distinctive green manufacturing industry cluster, a smart energy comprehensive service demonstration area and a leading area of enterprises' innovation and development, dominated by new energy, high-end intelligent equipment, new materials and logistics integrated services.
1. Zhejiang Energy Group Smart Energy Science and Technology Industrial Park
The project was invested in and constructed by Zhejiang Energy Group, with investment of 15 billion yuan ($2.11 billion) and a planned area of 168 hectares. The park focuses on developing new generation photovoltaic cells and high-end equipment for energy conservation and environmental protection, and providing integrated services in research and development (R&D), logistics, energy and commerce.
2. Tianneng Green Manufacturing Industrial Park
The park is invested in and constructed and managed by Tianneng Power International Limited, with investment of over 3 billion yuan and a planned land area of about 24 hectares.
The park will take scientific and technological innovation and green environmental protection as its guiding principles, with new energy, new materials and new equipment as its core areas. Its aim is to achieve intelligent manufacturing and build itself into a highland in the field of energy R&D.
3. South Taihu Lake Youth Science and Technology Innovation Park
With investment of 150 million yuan, the project has a planned land area of 5.7 hectares and a building area of about 62,000 square meters. It is a science and technology entrepreneurship and innovation platform integrating conference, office, road show, catering, accommodation, entertainment, property management and other supporting services.
Currently, there are 26 enterprises in the park, covering new energy, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, new materials and other industries.
