Huzhou staged a number of light shows on the evening of Feb 21 to mark the beginning of the 200-day countdown to the Asian Games.
Huzhou's Deqing county will host the 19th Asian Games' 3-on-3 basketball competitions and group volleyball events.
Deqing's wealth of experience in hosting high-profile sports events and its proximity to Hangzhou, the main venue of the Asian Games, makes it stand out as a co-host city. It takes only around 10 minutes to travel from Hangzhou to Deqing by bullet train.
