The Huzhou Public Health Clinical Center broke ground in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Feb 28.
The center affiliated with Huzhou Central Hospital will span roughly 135,000 square meters and receive a total investment of about 1.06 billion yuan ($163 million).
It will comprise four buildings and have a total of 800 beds. After it begins operating in June 2025, it is expected to effectively improve the city's capability to cope with public health emergencies.
