Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province had reported three locally transmitted COVID-19 cases as of 6:00 am March 11.

Two cases were in the city's Wuxing district, while the rest were in Southern Taihu Lake New District.

Huzhou's first reported case was a man residing in Zhili town in Wuxing, who tested positive during a routine nucleic acid test on March 7 after returning from a city outside Zhejiang.

As of 2:00 pm March 10, Zhili town had completed three rounds of nucleic acid testing, with more than 300,000 samples taken. All tests came out negative.

Makeshift facilities erected in the town for virus testing have now all been withdrawn, according to local authorities.

In addition, the first round of nucleic acid testing for people who made contact with the case in Southern Taihu Lake New District had all come out negative as of 00:30 am on March 11.

Using a digital map on Nantaihuhao, an app backed by the local government, residents can pinpoint the nearest locations for virus testing, vaccines and fever check-ups.
