Chen Hao appointed as Party chief of Huzhou

The CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee recently announced that Chen Hao has been appointed as secretary of the CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee.

Chen will succeed Wang Gang, who now serve as the head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.

Born in 1969 in Yongkang, a county-level city in Zhejiang province, Chen joined the CPC in 1988 and was a graduate of the School of Government Management of Peking University.

Chen worked at several universities in Zhejiang before he was promoted to secretary of the Huzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection in 2012 and deputy secretary of the CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee in 2017.

From August 2019 to this year, he served as deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and secretary of the leading Party members group of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce before taking on this new position.
