Huzhou Museum staged an exhibition featuring over 100 cultural relics in the Song Dynasty (1127-1279) on May 18 to mark International Museum Day.

The exhibition showcases the daily lives of people in the ancient times.

In recent years, Huzhou Museum has achieved fruitful results in digital innovation and its promotion of local culture across the world.

Each year since 1977, International Museum Day is celebrated on May 18 or around this date by the international museum community.

The day was established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), with the objective of increasing public awareness of the role of museums in the development of society. The theme for this year's edition is "The Power of Museums", which aims to explore the potential and power of museums to transform the world.
