Huzhou college ranks high in provincial assessment

The Huzhou Vocational & Technical College was recently ranked fourth in a provincial evaluation for 47 higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang.

Official statistics show that the number of faculties with a master's degree or above at the Huzhou Vocational & Technical College registered a 2.3-fold increase during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) period when compared with the previous five-year period.

The number of graduates from the school who landed jobs in Huzhou was 2.5 times the amount in the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015) period.

To date, the college has won 295 awards at contests at provincial level or above. Among them is a silver medal at China's first nationwide vocational skills competition and a silver medal at the World Skills Competition.

The school has established partnerships with over 80 enterprises to promote the integration of industry and education, and set up 26 R&D centers and workshops in cooperation with domestic industrial heavyweights.
