Some early-maturing varieties of honey peaches produced in Huzhou's Changxing county recently entered the market.

According to a couple who runs an orchard in Baifu village in the county, peach farmers will see a bumper harvest this year due to the ideal weather conditions.

The couple in their thirties rented a land to grow honey peaches after graduating from college in 2013. They introduced honey peaches from Yangshan town, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province and adopted a recycling mode, in which the feces of fowls raised in the orchard are used as fertilizers for peach trees.

The orchard has expanded from the original 70 mu (4.66 hectares) to the current 300 mu.

This year, the couple is selling a pack of eight honey peaches, each weighing more than 250 grams, for 75 yuan ($11.54).
