The 2022 China Green Low Carbon Innovation Conference will be held on Aug 15 and 16 in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, according to a recent press news conference recently held by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). 

The event will include an opening ceremony, a seminar and six themed forums.

UNESCO officials will be invited to address the opening ceremony, while Nobel Prize winners as well as academicians and experts from home and abroad will be invited to discuss the development path of green and low-carbon innovation in China and the future of sustainability in the world. 

The conference will witness the release of document such as The White Paper on the Carbon Peak, Carbon Neutrality, Science and Technology Development in Zhejiang Province in 2022. 

Huzhou, the host city, has long been hailed as a model in the nations campaign to create a green and low-carbon economy.
