A government delegation headed by Luo Zhenhua, head of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture, visited Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province from July 13 to 14.

Aba, administered by Southwest China's Sichuan province, is paired with Huzhou under the "pairing assistance" program launched by the central government, which sees more prosperous provinces and municipalities in East China lend support to underdeveloped regions of the country.

Hong Hupeng, mayor of Huzhou, congratulated Aba on its achievements in social and economic development and said that Huzhou will improve collaboration with Aba in fields including industrial cooperation, urban-rural development and people's livelihoods。

Luo then praised Huzhou's long-term support and expressed hope that the two places could strengthen bilateral ties in labor, consumption, industrial cooperation and other areas.

During their stay in Huzhou, the Aba delegation also visited places including Yucun village in Anji county, Wusi village and the Geographic Information Industrial Park in the Moganshan National High-tech Zone in Deqing county.

In addition, the environment and ecology authorities from the two places signed a strategic agreement to advance bilateral cooperation in ecological conservation, pollution treatment and talent cultivation.
