Two scenic spots - Nanxun Ancient Town and Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise - in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province were recently listed among the second batch of national nighttime culture and tourism consumption agglomeration zones, local media reported.

One hundred and twenty-three places from across the nation made the list released by the Ministry of Culture and Ministry.

Nanxun Ancient Town is Huzhou's only 5A national scenic area. Founded in 1252 during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), the town is currently among the top six ancient towns in Jiangnan, a region located in the south of the Yangtze River.

Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise is a tourist complex in Huzhou. Taihu Ancient Town is among the most popular tourism destinations within this complex.

Unlike other ancient towns in Jiangnan, the town is a commercial block built in the style of an ancient town. It is home to 64 hotels, more than 100 bars and restaurants, hundreds of stalls selling local specialties, and 20 theaters.
