The yellow peaches, grapes and dragon fruits produced in Huzhou have been selling well partly due to the new one-stop postal express service.

Offered by the Huzhou branch of the China Postal Express & Logistics, the service involves couriers collecting parcels of fruits from orchards or farms before delivering them to customers.

To date, the company has established partnerships with 170 family farms and cooperatives, helping them sell nearly 35,000 kilograms of agricultural products via the one-stop service.

Miaoxi town in Huzhou's Wuxing district, where yellow peaches are among the most important sources of income for local farmers, is one of the beneficiaries of the new service.

To help peach farmers solve transportation problems and labor shortage, employees from China Postal Express & Logistics' Huzhou branch have reached agreements with local farmers to collect the fruit at fixed times and locations before delivering them to cities as far as Beijing.

For example, the majority of yellow peaches sold from the Jinfeng family farm over the past five months were delivered by China Postal Express & Logistics.

The service station established in the town has handled 1,336 parcels containing yellow peaches with a combined weight of 7,000 kilograms thus far.
