An additional five residential communities from Huzhou were recently included in a pilot program for "future community" construction in East China's Zhejiang province.

The residential communities from Huzhou included in the program are Baihe, Xingshan, Xujiazhuang, Shanhuhuayuan, and Fenghuang.

A "future community" is an urban development project that aims to make cities more people-oriented, environmentally friendly, and digitalized. The term was included in the Zhejiang provincial government report in 2019. Zhejiang aims to implement the "future community" campaign throughout the province by 2022.
